The payment option “Purchase on account” has in a very short time significantly impacted our business in that it now accounts for more than half of all online orders. In the same time period we also noticed an increase in our turnover. However this is not sufficient enough to say to what extent this is owed to a general positive economic development within our industry or merely is incurred by the newly introduced payment option. At least a certain increase in revenues will also be due to the payment option.
I myself experienced a very positive implementation phase, especially because we did have a few special requests. The entire procedure was handled with great competence and little bureaucracy. I found that quite exemplary. Most important for the successful implementation was the fact that we had the possibility to run initial tests and to discuss failures in direct contact with the programers. This greatly simplified the implementation. Our customers only comment on payment issues in general, when these don’t work.
With regard to the payment option “purchase on account”, there are no problems at all from customers’ side, because, apart from the credit check running in the background, there’s nothing that has to be done, i.e. the difficulties of verifying credit cards and processing direct debits simply fall away. I think that in addition to the security feature, the fact that the customer only pays after receiving the goods is an important aspect in the acquisition of customers.
After linking-up with you it was and is important to us, that we can approach you in case of problems, for example, if a customer without apparent reason does not get a positive credit check, that we can ask why that is so. This has not happened frequently yet, but is all the more important to the customer, because he will obviously want to know, why he was rejected. In general we are simply thrilled about how smoothly everything works.
